Time trials, "the race of truth" - there is no hiding place. In the cycling time trial it's just you against the watch - no team support, no rest breaks, no 'time outs' - just full-out continuous effort.

The Carolina Cycling Time Trial Association (CCTTA) holds time trials at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, NC. The TT's are 10 miles or 7 laps around the speedway. TT's are not about racing other riders. They are about you against the clock and beating your own time.
